Been a while since I did a spotting topic in IF. This will feature all airlines/aircraft that will launch services to/from Adelaide this year, as well as some from last year!

Beginning our spotting spree is this Indonesia AirAsia A320 zooming in from Denpasar, with service starting on June the 25th!
Next, is an Emirates A350, which is set to replace the B77L on DXB-ADL from the 1st of December! This will also be Emirates’ first route for their long-haul configured A350s.
Now, we have a Qantas taxiing for departure for the inaugural resumption of Adelaide Trans-Tasman flights, heading to Auckland, starting from Halloween!
Only resuming last year is China Southern, where they have launched seasonal flights to Adelaide, which they will be set to return sometime in December for the Northern Winter season!
Coming towards the end of the topic, we have United’s 787-9 seconds from touchdown on Runway 05. United will make history for us South Aussies, creating the first ever link between the USA and SA, as well as putting the route in the Top 30 longest routes list! The seasonal service will begin on the 11th of December.
Dedicated to the very last picture of the topic is Cathay Pacific’s resumption of flights between HK and Adelaide! This flight holds a special place in my heart as this was the first ever route I took, and was the prime connection for me and my relatives in Dongguan! I will be planning to take this service in December for a trip to Taiwan and Vietnam! The thrice-weekly seasonal service will begin on the 11th of November, now with the A350-900, instead of the A330-300, used pre-covid!
