PK-OZI Local Training Feedback

  1. I had no issues with the first pattern or the initial runway change. You showed good potential and demonstrated a solid understanding of sequencing, clearances, and handling the runway change sequence.

  2. On the second runway change, when I requested a change from Runway 34R to Runway 34L, you could have instructed me to enter the left downwind for Runway 34L rather than the right downwind. Since Runway 34L uses a left-hand traffic pattern, the instruction should reflect the appropriate pattern for the newly assigned runway.

  3. The sequencing for G-AREN to follow my aircraft was correct and appropriately handled.

  4. When issuing taxi instructions to the stand/gate after landing, you should provide the appropriate taxi and parking instructions, including accommodating any requested drag and taxi instructions, rather than leaving the taxi to parking entirely at the pilot’s discretion. This is an important part of ground control and is also taken into consideration during testing, so it is worth paying particular attention to.

Overall, you show good potential, and I look forward to seeing your progress in the next training session.
