Hey guys,
since I flew a view career mode rounds at Ryanair VA I would like to request an additional command as pilot on unicom frequency.
“callsign is clear of takeoff-runway and climbing out of airport at actuall altitude heading direction. Tuning out of frequency. Good day!”
You could label the button “Check out” and if you click it, you may choose the takeoff-runway, than direction, eg north, east, south or west.
So an actual call could be:
“Ryanair 987FR is clear of runway 03 and climbing out of Eindhoven at 2500ft heading east. Tuning out of frequency. Good day!”
Why would this be useful?
If multiple pilots want to depart from an airport without ATC, they can give a realistic command via unicom to give the following aircraft an okay to takeoff.
There should also be a possibility to select “Line up and wait” in unicom.
this could also be helpful if IFATC is changing controllers or ends a session with multiple planes still going to depart.
