Infinite Flight is already a great simulator, but adding real-time weather synchronization would make it even more realistic and immersive. Features like live fog, rain, dynamic cloud layers, windy takeoffs and landings, and realistic turbulence would greatly enhance the experience.
The current option to adjust cloud height is useful, but real weather sync would take realism to the next level. I understand this may be challenging on a mobile platform, but it would be an excellent addition for users who value realism.
Dynamic weather and more cloud layers will be possible down the line with the new rendering engine - we need to get over that hurdle first.
etc.
Given that not even MSFS can do realistic cloud layers that well - I’d be cautiously optimistic about this being done in IF. It’s very difficult to do, since only the METARs and weather reports for the airports provide potential cloud cover information.
