Yes this should be implemented as I have mistakenly quit a few flights sometimes as lost much XP!

This would be an excellent feature addition! I think the contributing community has outlined and reinforced the key points for this in outstanding fashion. Now we just have to hope that this is something that can be implemented in the future. It is certainly a more worthwhile endeavor than some of the other suggestions that have been brought up. Great idea!
You don’t lose any XP when you accidentally ended your flight using the “End Flight” button. It’s the same as if you landed and parked and hit the “End Flight” button then.
The only issue is the annoyance of going to calibrate or something else and accidentally hitting the button to end the flight while during a nice flight. This has happened to me a few times but not enough for me to want it changed.
This button has saved me from voilations more than anything. I’ve learned now not to click in that area just like I’ve learned when and when not to click all of the other buttons in the game.
My worst nightmare, ending a 14 hour flight, 100 feet from ground, Controls are a bit messed up, you pause, attempt to recalibrate, BOOM! You hit “End Flight” your worst Temper comes to life.

Yeah, I would go bonkers if I hit the “End Flight” button accidentally before touching down after a 3hr flight in Global, let’s get this rolling before that becomes a possibility devs ;)

This would be a good feature as many people would end a perfectly good flight by accidentally hitting the ‘end flight’ button.

Maybe an option in settings to turn it off if you didn’t like it though?
