Well as I do know programming space mode can kinda end up laggy. Specially on old devices

Which is my main problem with the idea. I think global is more important. If we decide to add space mode too, older devices will not be able to run the game well, or maybe not at all.
By old I mean devices such as iPhone 4. Who has those now?
