Active Airspace Contact Departure Question

I was told that right now in WMKK, I didn´t know what to do so I waited a bit and contacted tower for take off, what should I have done instead of that?

😂 obviously you were on the ground and in the playground ignore them. I don’t even give them the satisfaction when I take off to contact if they do stupid stuff like that.

Yes departure is another ATC man we really need to open that more on advanced
