I think like Vatsim infinite flight needs a bi annual across the pond event. I hope that this will be the busiest event with 1,000+ being able to attend. Please may I have some help discussing, organising, and getting the required act please.

The logistics of VATSIM Cross the Pond are extremely complex and while it’s a cool idea in theory, I don’t think it would work well in practice in Infinite Flight. Infinite Flight has a lot less restrictions than VATSIM does, especially when it comes to large events. For example:
- How would you enforce a slot system. Some sort of program would need to be created that would allow IFATC to see whether a pilot has a “slot” or not.
- Forcing pilots to be constantly “online” for 8-10+ hours is not very practical for the majority of Infinite Flight’s user base.
- VATSIM creates custom NAT Tracks and enforces a set route for each user that must be followed. You wouldn’t be able to do this very easily in Infinite Flight.
- Unlike on VATSIM, there is no proper oceanic ATC in Infinite Flight.
- Also on the ATC front, I imagine it would be tricky to even get together sufficient ATC to cover the entire event. We all have our own lives and not many of us can control for multiple hours at a time.
I could go on for a while…

That makes sense I was just wondering why
