Across the globe from Narita (NRT-BKK)

I hate exams, and I love breaks after them.

My school year is over, and exams are finally done. Since everything for me is finished, I have plenty of time on my hands. So, I thought:
Why not start a world tour using Infinite Flight? 🌎

Extra bit of details

Narita airport is one of the most prominent airport in Japan. It serves as an international hub for passengers and cargo, serving up to 43 countries and 114 airports. Many would think Haneda as the most important airport in Japan, but it has a significant less number of airports and countries served, with 24 countries and 99 airports. ✈️

Fun fact: The winds in Narita Airport is known to be very strong during the spring season, and we got to experience it today! The 15 knots of crosswind we faced may seem like quite a lot, but it’s just a breeze compared to the insane 30+ knots of gusts that frequently attacks the airport! πŸ’¨

The Flight

Arrived at Narita Airport. The detail put into the 3d buildings and objects are incredible! Since the flight takes off early in the morning, I arrived at the airport at 3am. πŸ˜ͺ Still very dark outside…

I got to walk on the tarmac for some beautiful shots, as the sun rose in the background during the boarding. Absolutely stunning!

Off we go! We lift into the rising sun with a crosswind. I managed to handle it perfectly!

Saw these 🐳 parked near, so I took a sneaky shot from the ground. I love how the wheels tilt in the 777s!

We quickly ascended to our cruising altitude, and approached the stunning mountains of Japan. Mount Fuji with the little snow on top was very welcoming!

A few hours later, we see the phenomenal landscape of Taiwan. This time from the window!

We crossed the vast South China Sea, and approached the South East Asian land. The ocean felt extra deep with a darker shade of blue.

In no time, we start the descent to Bangkok. We’re lined up with the runway now!

As smooth as you like.

That flight was one of the first flight I have done since I came back. It was a great and smooth flight, and the scenery was just top notch. I’ve flown this route in real life a couple times, so it was interesting to see the pilot view of the flight for once!

That was the first flight of the World Tour done. I’d love to hear how you guys liked it. One thing I wanted to hear from you guys, is what kind of perspective should I do these flight reports from. Passengers POV are always fun to do, Pilot POV is a one I didn’t try yet, and there is this type of POV where it’s free to do anything.

For people who read until here, here’s a popcorn for you: 🍿

Cheers! Thanks for reading.

I mean humans do live in Antarctica

I guess 🀷 most people just visit there tho, I don’t think they really live there

It would be super interesting to go to Antarctica, but the ”airports” are just a bunch of ice 😭 most of the airlines can’t even land there so 🀷 thanks for the suggestion though!
