Thoughtful engagement of mistakes is everything: Learning without mistakes is not learning; Science without mistakes is not science. Mistakes and growth are joined at the hip. Excessive fear of, or ignoring mistakes is the only real mistake.
Exactly, that’s why I made this!
A great short and effective message. I believe this message, even it is short, means something to everybody, since nobody is perfect.
Trust me when I say this is from first hand experience, it’s not about if you make mistakes, it’s about how you learn from them that is the important part.
Everyone makes mistakes. As long as you reflect, and change what caused the mistake, then that’s not a mistake, it’s a learning experience that will grow you as a person.
Awesome article!
I’m a fan of your words and self reflection. It’s helpful to me personally to see people like you setting a good example. Especially because it’s so easy for me to forget this lesson.
Thank you! 😁
Making mistakes is apart of life. Fixing said mistakes is a choice weather you want to improve or dwell on the error.
Awesome article.
One of my biggest mistakes was when I got banned from Grade 3 for year! Although I have been back up into grade 3 since July. So I learnt & kept on pushing!
Awesome quote!
Wonderful quote, and I agree!
Love to see motivation, a year is a bit long :)
I also once made a mistake managing traffic that I’ve learnt from.
It was late at night, and to be honest I’d had a few drinks. Thought it would be a good idea to try traffic management, but nobody would pay attention. I was waving my hands, shouting even. People going too fast, completely ignoring my directions, not even responding,
It was honestly pretty scary.
I’m actually in prison now. Turns out you aren’t allowed to control traffic on the motorway.
I highly doubt that a prisoner is on the IFC. nice story though! calls 911 LOL
I made a mistake by instead of changing the heading when vectored I accidentally changed the speed and got a level 2 violation by the time I realized what happened. I’ve learned now to focus when getting vectored and responding to IFATC fast.
Lol, that’s hilarious.
ATC: “Turn left heading 230”
Pilot: I got this! (Sets speed to 230)
I know right now I look back it was so funny
Yeah, a unique one for sure. At least you can look back on it and realise you should probably slow down to read it lol
I thought I was the only one to do that. Though I might just as likely have changed the heading to the speed assignment.
Mistakes happen, it’s all about how you grow from them :)
