Ability to reconnect to the live server

Let’s say that you got disconnected permanently(on that flight) and your trying to reconnect, is there a way to reconnect

Other than:

  • Restarting the flight
  • Continuing the rest of the flight offline

And if there’s not, will a feature be added in the future?

What if you could only reconnect in an offline center for example you can’t reconnect (as in the button won’t appear)
Around:

  • Active centers/FIRs
  • active airports
  • anything that’s close to interrupting traffic flow

But what if you can connect in an offline center (no atc) or away from active/busy airports

Also you can’t reconnect if you’ve gotten disconnected by atc

Just an idea idk what do you think

There’s no way to reconnect after being issued a disconnection or putting the app in background for an extended amount of time. This is to prevent interruption to normal traffic flow (such as you randomly pop up on final, causing a separation incident)

Try to Click on the connection status on the top right corner then click live and it might connect

I see what you mean but it’s when you get disconnected permanently as in you can’t reconnect

There should be a button for this. It happens sometimes, but that other time your stuffed, if your doing long-haul its really annoying but its best to restart

^^ this is why it doesn’t reconnect you, having a button that reconnects you would defeat the purpose of preventing an interruption to traffic flow

Same but this happens for a reason which I understand i think the best thing to do is be careful that’s what I learned

Maybe above FL200 (so outside of any terminal area control) and outside of an active FIR? If the app detects you are close to an aircraft (like it does when it turns the other A/C red/amber on the map) it won’t let you connect like it does on initial spawn?

I think there was a feature request for this, hang on. Edit: Think I’m wrong about the feature request
