I was planning on doing the Air France service from Ivory Coast capital Abidjan to Paris with the Air France a380 (which was used from 2014 to 2019 on this route 3 times a week) and i figured out that the Abidjan airport (DIAP icao code) cannot accomodate the a380, which was usually parked at Apron 6 (main apron 6) .
Updates to airports and updates to the navigation database are two different things. Infinite Flight no longer uses NAVBLUE, who provided global navigation data. This means that, at least for now, we’re unlikely to see any further navigation database updates for the forseeable future.
This is different to the navigation data for the United States. This data is generally updated with every app update as the data is publicly available and is free, or affordable (I’m not 100% sure).
The global navigation database is based on an AIRAC Cycle from 2021.
That kinda sucks it was one thing that made global flying possible and give a edge against the competitors.Even navigraph subscription wouldn’t help if you were to fly out latest procedures at some airports like Frankfurt since the gps co-ordinates of the waypoints have been changed on newer airac data.
I already own the sub but it doesn’t help much for example if you want try out this procedure you can’t since those waypoints co-ordinates are different on the older airac data which infinite flight has and the result is funny.
I think it should be an easy fix if the waypoints can be created entirely on the gps co-ordinates when generating from sim brief like they are done for waypoints that doesn’t exist in the game rather than matching with the in game version.
