Welcome to the Abbotsford virtual airshow 2023! Come and show off your talent in your favourite aircraft at the end of this july!

This event is a virtual version of the popular Abbotsford airshow! (No official affiliation) The real Abbotsford airshow is a very popular airshow in western canada, that has been up and running for 60+ years at the small airport of Abbotsford just east of Vancouver. More info here:

This event will be run in segments/time slots, below the participant requirements you can pick what time slot work best for you! Once you have figured out what/when you want to fly, reply below.

Participant requirements:

You may choose any aircraft you like, however military aircraft are highly recommended as the Abby airshow’s most popular performances are military aircraft.

your aircraft must be able to use YXX’s runway IRL (no A380s or 747s - 747s allowed under low-weight, under 20% load)

Please no trolling, yes this event is taking place on casual but please be respectful!

Try not to break mach 1 - it is okay if you do for a few second by accident, but please refrain from going mach 1 for long periods of time.

Don’t begin your performance until the previous performer has landed and begun taxi

You do not need to use all 15 minutes your allotted if you don’t need to/want to, it just helps give some buffer time if needed

You can also do multi-aircraft performances with a friend, but do not join other performance’s without permission

I’ll definitely keep an eye on this one, and see if i can join as it gets closer - even if I’d run a sort of static display then
