Hi all! This may come as a suprise, but American Airlines does not fly any of their 59 (and counting!) 787s to JFK, and this is about to change: Here is a OMAAT article that was just updated yesterday about this:
I am really excited about this! It seems like they will debut these planes on the more premium and flagship routes, such as to Paris, Delhi, and maybe even Tokyo.

About time. I believe pre-Covid the plan was to make JFK a 787 base around 2021 to replace the 767s, but with Covid wiping those planes out early, the plans were pushed back. Nice to finally see it happening. Nice for us JFK locals getting a more varied American lineup at the airport rather than just the 777s.

Yup! The consistency with the 777s is amazing, but variety is better!!
