Hi! Hope you are doing well. I am in flight rn RJAA-PHNL, in an A380-800, and there is a problem. I finished climb, i’m at FL370, with next step climb at 39K feet. I am NOT climbing, but my A380 is pitched up without any reason. The trim is at 0% (I even tried to put the nose down by setting it, but it didn’t work) and I am not climbing. My aircraft doesn’t take speed, blocked at 250kts, WITH TAILWIND, amd even if I set throttle to 100% MANUALLY, I don’t gain speed. Please help
You must be too high for ur load
I thought it was this at first, but I made the FPL with simbrief, and it should set the loads and fuel automatically, especially that it’s SimBrief that sets altitude for step climb
Im gonna try to descend
Simbrief and infinite flight aren’t that related. The a380 is a new model so I wouldn’t argue but for old models don’t depend on simbrief altitudes. Use flightsmart.info or check out the a380 guide. Can you let me know what’s your aircraft load?
Ok. My load is at 64% (467,612 kg)
Im descending at 30K
That should be light enough for fl370 and what was ur cruise speed. If it’s too low your aircraft will pitch up. Also upto 5 degrees pitch is completely fine
I thought I could trust this cuz of the new update
I was at M0.85 (the average cruise spd for A380) and I was at 10-15 degrees pitch
I mean, every plane is potched up when cruising, it cant stay flat with the horizon or it will descend. How much are you pitches up? Look on your PFD and see how many degrees your pitched up.
I am now at 30K, and the speed and the pitch seems fine
Aircrafts usually pitch up with a few degrees, increase speed if it’s much more than that, or descend.
Uh now I’m at 5 degrees and I was at 10-15 degrees then
Thats what I did, but I wasn’t gaining speed. Now I descended at 30K and its alr
I know that, but it wasn’t like usual
Yeah, too heavy for your weight. FL370 is quite high at 64% load. Try FL330/FL350 and see results
Im at 30K im gonna try to climb at 35K
Thanks for responding guys, I thinks it’s alr now
