Hello! Can anyone tell me the engine start sequence for the A380 pushing east, you know, so I don’t eliminate the ground crew? Thanks

The Infinite Flight A380 Profiles Guide as well as other sources state to start Engines 1 & 2 first and then start engines 3 & 4 once the first 2 have stabilised.
So it doesn’t matter whether I’m pushing back east or west of the gate?
What do you mean by this? Are you asking about pushing back from a specific gate at a specific airport?

No, the engine start sequence for pushing east, because in the tutorial Tyler was pushing west, I was asking if it’s the same star sequence of if I start with engine 4.
As far I know it’s the same start sequence.

Oh ok thanks.
I see your point. When pushing back turning right, I was told pilots may start the right engine first so that thrust does not go against the truck’s effort to turn the plane around. Though I now doubt it is true… and it would be more complicated for a quad engine plane!
