Hi all,
How do you slow down the speed on A380-800 when are descent due to speed picking up when descending?
Spoilers in flight mode and and flaps below 2 and rest if you’re lucky to have headwind. Would recommend doing a pattern work if you can’t work it out.

Hey there!
I was on an 11 hour flight from ICN to KLAX and when I was in my approach I had to disarm Vnav because when the Vnav made the aircraft descent my speed went up drastically even if I had a set speed on my AP and when I disarmed VNAV and manually flew a Vertical speed my speed stabilized? Can someone explain to me why this is on the a380-800 and not other planes?

I also would like to point out most of the Sim brief generated altitudes for approach rather requires a steep descent which makes you high for most of the approach and hence would recommend using charts for a clear picture.
