A350-1000 should be burning 6 hours more fuel (for an 11 hour flight and according to SimBrief which can have questionable data). Has anyone as experienced this, or is it just me?
I’ve experienced something similar. Sim Brief has incorrect fuel calculations so I just use FlightAware or FR24 to find a real world flight or similar and match the fuel to the expected flight time in the sim.

I am at like M06 on fuel right now for A350-1000 in SimBrief. The A350-1000 is like that so it can operate as an ULR type for the people who are interested in that.

Okay, I’ll try that. Don’t see how much more difficult it would be to add the ULR as a separate variant with different fuel burn, because this is rather frustrating. Thanks for the reply!

I believe it’s a known issue that is been looked into

The fuel burn on the standard -1000 vs the ULR will be more or less the same. The extra range comes from an additional fuel tank.

Coming here because I do believe there’s issues. Took off with 3h of extra fuel and I have now 1:15h of extra fuel remaining. 4h into the flight so far.
Not sure of this is normal or not. But comparing to the A359, the 35K burns MUCH more fuel.

Are you using AP+? If so, that’s probably the culprit.
If not, are you following Simbrief’s parameters on altitude and cruise speed (if you used SB)?

That’s interesting. All my A350-1000 flights done completely “live”, I’ve usually ended up with more fuel left than Simbrief’s initial calculations.

I’ve been using the m18-m20 fuel factor and that seems to fix it

I’m running some fuel tests right now. It seems like the actual problem is that the plane burns too much fuel at higher flight levels. The most efficient flight level at 190t (which is around what you end up with at the end of a flight if using a typical load) is only FL320.
A359 had this issue as well but this seems even more extreme.

I have it too did a long haul flight 10hrs and when i woke up next morning and opened the game AP+ said out of fuel but I tooked fuel for 19hrs I wondered too why the A35K can take 34hrs of fuel that is not normal. But I noticed it at B38M flights too that the plane burned too much fuel I took 6hrs with me on a three hour flight and had 15% after 2:45H of flying anyone have the same?

According to my math flying empty with full fuel tanks at FL300 gives over 37 hours and even at FL360 (which is less efficient for some reason) gives over 35 hours.
IF has always had an issue with the most efficient FL being too low.

Just a heads up, 300 feet at 331 KIAS yields 16,000+ nm w/ full fuel at MTOW. If you ain"t getting that range or more flying at the higher typical altitudes, then you’re not flying efficiently at all I’m afraid. The efficient flight level being too low seems like a valid complaint, but it’s to a much more significant degree than you think. About 50ish hours on the fuel, more than the 30ish that I’m hearing ya’ll talk about without using AP+.
