A350 or 777

With both aircraft being worked on and headed towards IF, which widebody do you prefer? I would like to know why as both are great widebody aircraft imho, and I hope that people can be more tolerant of different opinions and that this doesn’t descend into a Boeing v. Airbus war.

A350 due to new routes and mechanics.
B777 due those GE-90

I’ve flown the A350 about 10 times before. Every single time it was more comfortable, more elegant, and more beautiful then any other wide-body!

I’m also biased as the A350 is my favorite aircraft 😉

True, I’ve been on the 777 way more than the A350, but the A350 being a newer aircraft is undisputedly more comfortable.

The A350 is a new design and completely based around passenger comfort. The 777 is based on fuel efficiency and long range travel. But my choice is the A350 because it is just so comfortable

A350 definitely.

Fresher cabin, more comfortable, better quality IFE screens :), looks beautiful and elegant, etc…

May I ask how this shouldn’t provoke an Airbus vs. Boeing battle?

I believe quite a few threads and what not have been closed due to escalations, and I never implied that it shouldn’t, I simply hope that it won’t.

Comfortability is determined by the airlines…

But yes, the A350 is definitely my choice

True, but then it’s a known fact that the A350 has lower cabin air altitude and air that is more humid, and that contributes to comfort, it’s not just about the seat.

I like the Boeing 777 because of that flex

Both are amazing, I can’t choose as the B777 (hopefully the A350 too) will have the Cathay Pacific livery on it and are great aircrafts to fly!

I’ve flown on both Qatar’s A350 and B777. A350 feels more spacious to me.

the A350 was based around fuel efficiency and is significantly more efficient than the 777

Yes and also passenger comfort that’s why it’s more expensive than the 787
