hello,
I don’t know if this is the right category, correct me if i am wrong.
I have been using the A359 a lot recently but just today I got this problem.
whilst exceeding 38000 feet it started to lose speed even at 0 vs
I stalled and ended the flight.
I started a new one and stayed at 37000 feet.
now i am cruising normally with N1 power at around 88%
I checked the load and the fuel which is at around 80%
the passengers ang cargo is less than 10%
why is this happening?
First impressions:
Stalling and at 80% load weight is too high for FL380.
Try at FL340/360.
Also what speed are you at?
If you can show us a replay so we can have a good look:)
M 0.85
let me descend to 34000 feet
82% N1 and no stall…
where can i find the different cruising altitudes for heavy departures/flights?
Try loading as low fuel as you can and see if that works. It might be because of your fuel weight or when you were climbing, you FPM was too high (it happened to me before). Also try step climb because the A350 engines are pretty underpowered.
You can go to flightradar24 and look on each flight and do playback so you can see their altitudes and Flight routes.
This topic lists optimal cruise altitudes for every plane [*airliner] in the game and has a spreadsheet that does all the work for you. There’s also flightsmart.info which is essentially a search engine on top of this and other community data, but only the spreadsheet tells you how much fuel to bring.
I swear there’s a new “why is my fully loaded plane stalling at FL way-too-high” topic every week. Please do a search before making a new topic next time.
