I recently did a flight in the A350–1000 from Melbourne to Toulouse. I used full fuel, less than 10 pax and less than 2000 pounds of cargo. I used AP+ for this journey and unfortunately ran out of fuel before I reached the West Coast of Europe. Is there something that I am doing wrong? I’ve seen others complete this route and I’ve flown the same route. If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading! (I was debating where to put this topic.)
I think there are some AP+ fuel bugs going around with the A35K.
Indeed, I tried from Auckland to Toulouse east bound almost run out of fuel at Portugal.
There are. I have seen some people have this same problem. Some people are able to do it, and other people can not.
Try flying without using AP+, I succeeded with a time of 24 hours and 20 minutes ![]()
Hello check this airframe thread i linked an airframe that reproduces the A35K ULR (when filing your FPL make sure you put no passengers as the actual YMML - LFBO didnt have passengers): Simbrief Airframe Thread
Ok, for a while it was going fine but now the last four times I’ve ran out of fuel. ![]()

With AP+? Best course of action is to do the flight in one sitting on a weekend. Just start the flight, get levelled and speed up the game.
Yea, I do it during the week cause I am so busy. It still logs hours tho
Must be a bug, unless you had some mad as head winds for the entire journey that should have sent your plane to the other side of the world. I did a flight last week from EGLL - EGLL in the A350 and it was a round the world flight through America down to Australia then up through Dubai back into London without landing. Took me about 44 hours
I still landed with 48% fuel left in the tanks. Granted there was a lot of step climbing.
I’ve not seen a problem with it tbh, I flew from SYD to SJO full tank with AP+ and got to SJO with 65% of fuel left and that took me about 13 hours of flight time, was also full cargo and full PAX for Qantas’ A350ULR
