Hey
Today I was seeing if some people are saying correct or wrong. I have read that the A330 can bearly climb to Fl380, but that wrong I fuels for 3 hours and I climbed up to Fl410.
Hey

How heavy are you? The lighter you are, the higher you can climb.
I had 3 hours fuel and 240 people and 6000k weight.
Yes, you should have no trouble climbing to FL410 at that weight.
But I had tried with heavy A330 and climb up to Fl390
The heavier you are, the less you can climb. If you’re heavy, I recommend cruising between FL320-FL360.
Ok, thank you. Now I will delete this.
You will also notice that your throttle is at 100% and N1 is at 101%. Two things you want to avoid.
The A330 does have to be really light to go up to FL410 without excessive N1 (like 10% load). That being said, unlike other aircraft, it actually is most efficient at FL410 if you are light. A lot of other aircraft capp out of 380 for efficiency (which is off of course)
yeah the current A330 doesn’t really like to climb, like at all :/
Ok thank you guys.
I mean the 787 can do it to
It could climb slowly to FL410 so I can go up around 20-40 minutes
but they still need to fix the climbing on this thing
True I think they will fix it.
That’s really interesting how it sounds at cruise level with 100% thrust 🧐
Yes basically Crap climbing and cruise is the answer
The A330 doesn’t have quite accurate physics. But you’re in luck as it’s gonna get reworked after the 757!
If you want a climb to cruise aircraft turn to the A340-300 series, everytime I’ve flown the A330 we stopped near FL350 at first
The physics on the A330 is really off , IRL the A330 easily climbs up to FL370 or higher. If you haven’t already noticed , the fuel flow on the A330 itself is also very inaccurate. Thankfully the A330 rework will be coming up next after the B757 is done!
