I keep overspeeding and my spoilers and flaps are doing nothing, and I crashed.
Don’t think it’s an issue tbh. Sounds like a pilot error as far as I’m concerned but want to make sure. What was your vertical speed? Spoilers won’t do much if your vertical speed is excessive. Can you go into more detail about the occurrence?
Yeah its just a pilot error as well you will get better just give the A330-300 a chance you know and you will be on your way to success remember the devs worked hard on the rework! 🙂
What is the speed you are going at? I have flown the A330 a lot and I am not having overspending issues. Sounds like pilot error.
It’s just the A330 I’ve had problms with.
180kts, because I was about to land.
Can we get a reply?
Huh? On what?
https://sharemyinfiniteflight.com upload the replay of the flight here and post the link it gives you in your post.
You oversped while at 180 knots…?
You mean on the runway or taxiway?
Your Vref in the A330 should be about 145 knots on final approach unless you’re at 75% weight or heavier.
Check out the landing profiles below, might give you a better idea!
I had the speed issue. I did a flight and as soon as I reached FL280 i turned to Mach 0.82, and a few mins later got an over speed violation.
I was about to land, but it kept giving me violations because it sped itself up.
Yeah What I do for landings is 140-160 knots to land nicely! 🙂
A question for both of you having the issue, were you at your device at the time of the overspeed violation? If so, can you describe what happened?
Yes, I had VNAV on, flaps full, on final, and it just kept overspeeding and it gave me 2 violations.
It would’ve had to speed up to 260-odd knots to be worthy of a violation.
Could we see a replay if possible? You can share it on www.sharemyinfiniteflight.com
It was 250 because I was at 3kft, and I don’y know how to.
There are instructions on the website to do it.
Follow the instructions on the website it’s pretty self explanatory.
So you’re saying it sped up all of a sudden from 180 to 250 knots?
That’s…strange. A replay will help investigate.
