Hey guys 👋 hope you guys are all having a good day. So in infinite flight we all know the a330 is one of the best planes in the sim and I love it. But there is one thing missing on this plane. When the flaps drop the ailerons on the a330 drop as well in sync with the flaps. Currently we don’t have this feature yet. Here are images to show what I mean.
You can see that the photo in real life shows the a330s ailerons drooping depending on the flaps selection. Also the new A380 has it and it is really cool to watch. This feature should be added but if it takes a while that’s fine it’s just a request it doesn’t have to be made instantly. The ailerons droop is to help with lift during landing and takeoff and helps it takeoff at a little bit slower speed. Anyway this is just a request and we don’t need it urgently. i understand it maybe annoying sometimes to not see perfection in every detail of the sim.
just yesterday i saw that the a340 has the a330-300 marking on it for the Lufthansa livery. although not every detail in the sim is covered, the IF team works really hard to give us the things we wish for and they do it greatly.
9/10 times, theres a reason as to why something like the aileron does not couple to the flaps or why the a340 has the a330 marking on it.
be patient and give some credit to the team, im sure they’ll make up for it ;)
Closing this request as there is an aileron droop topic already that covers the general request of it. We’d have multiple airbus aircraft types being requested with this feature if we let it go on. See linked topic above and support it by giving it a vote. Cheers
