A321 Neo Cross Bleed

Are there any resources on how to use crossbleed to start the A321neo engine? I failed to activate the X-BLEED button.

I believe it was shown on the live preview. Can you not start the engine with APU bleed air?

The crossbleed knob has been left inoperable at this time so you can’t open or close, contrary to what was shown in the preview where Dan used on-screen buttons

I can, but i am trying to test this feature

I have tried it with the latest build, but the cross bleed from Eng 1 still doesn’t work.

Can’t start Eng 2 without the APU bleed.

This should be in Support or Open Beta (Support)

Hello!

The crossbleed knob animation is not active, but the action for the valve itself is. You can use the BLEED page on the lower ECAM to see the actual position of the valve prior to the crossbleed start.

This has been reported internally as well, hopefully a fix will be made available soon.

You can use cross bleed to start the engine, you just need to throttle up on the other running engine.

I start APU, APU Bleed. I start Eng 1 and turn off APU. (eventually taxi to runway).
I click on x Bleed Open (Auto- but it doesn’t move to Open).

Then I set Eng 2 on position On. Mode is still on IGN/ Start.

Engine 2 still doesn’t do anything. Am I doing something wrong?

Ok, I will try that.

Now having said that, there’s a couple of things I’ll fix for next one. (Switch stuck and some internal behavior issues)

Thank you :folded_hands:

I now got ENG 2 running without APU.

I think the problem was, APU Bleed was still On on overhead panel.
I will try more times now.
