This is a known issue being noted by several users all across the forum. This is a very known issue, and will soon be fixed. The A321 is a very tricky plane to master so here is a guide.

Just recently, I was attempting to fly from Zurich, Switzerland, to London Heathrow, England, in a Swiss Airbus A321. I found that the autopilot, specifically the ALT autopilot, appeared to be faulty. Once activated, the aircraft began to bob it’s nose up and down almost immediately. This motion became progressively worse, until the aircraft stalled. Had I not been present to recover from the stall, I would have crashed, and racked up several speeding violations in the process. I found the issue…
Hi guys, this is the second time now, getting annoyed.
Am flying now 777 with 72%load, cruise 33000ft M 0.78 winds 25knots.
The plane can’t be stable as the autopilot is trying to maintain at 33000ft… so the pitch will go up and down with -400 and +400 vertical speed difference.
Have tried reenganged the AP but still.
Only have issue with 777 other planes are fine.
I know this topic have been discussed before.
I have had two flights where I was in level flight on AP when my A321 developed a progressively more severe pitch oscillation. The first one put me into a stall at FL28. Fortunately I caught it in time to avoid a bunch of violations on the expert server. I figured I left some aspect of the AP off and chalked it up to pilot error.
The second flight immediately after also exhibited the behavior at FL24 although I caught the oscillation much sooner.
I am now in level flight at 16000 and am not ex…
