Actually I’d say it’s a lot more likely we get the 321N first. They’ve seen peoples opinion and the majority of us prefer the 321N since it has better liveries and routes
I’d prefer the Airbus A320NEO. Once the United States are decentered from the point of view the idea becomes clear.
I feel like removing the United States voters might not change the results too much. I have no idea how to check that though
this is why I think they should adjust the range of the 738/9 to make it more realistic. It would be really strange if the 738 could fly farther than the max
Honestly if we dont get the 321N, i would be surprised. With, or after the 320N atleast.
I genuinely don’t think that the 320N would come first
A321 Neo on top baby
Well, even if we remove the United States, A21N still will be top choice. Pretty much every airline that has the A320NEO has the A321NEO and airlines who don’t have the the A320NEO have the A321neo.
Eg: Airlines outside of the US who have the 321NEO
EasyJet
Jet2
ITA Airlines
Peach
Air India
Indigo
AirAsia (Thai and Malaysia)
Air Busan
Viva Aerobus
Wizz
JetStar
China Southern, Airlines
Air China
Starlux
That’s just a bit.
TL;DR The A321neo has more operators and all A320neo operators operate them too.
Yes. And it’s still wrong to exclude the US in these discussions. It doesn’t matter what country an operator is from, whichever aircraft has more operators is the better choice.
Nowhere, has the Infinite Flight team ever said anything-in fact, they’ve even denied it-about putting the Airbus A321NEO in the game. The Airbus A320NEO, on the other hand, has been confirmed to come to the game. There is no reason to outright remove an aircraft’s spot on the pipeline just because popular demand has shifted several months later. There are so many aircraft waiting to be put in-game, why should the 320 out of all aircraft, be the one to be sacrificed?
I’m not saying that the 321 shouldn’t come in game, I’m just saying that it’s outright wrong to remove a plane from the pipeline just because a poll comes up several months later, when everything is set in stone.
Requesting the 321 via Features is the way to go-the demand is large enough that it’s practically guaranteed it will be introduced at some point ( Soon™ hehe ), no need to remove or delay another guaranteed aircraft’s arrival.
Proof? I’d like to see this for myself.
Also, what I’m suggesting isn’t removing the A320neo from the pipeline, but rather have the A321neo be first
Post 131, this thread: Jason stated so on Discord.
And we’ve seen the amount of time between updates; unless you’re planning on having them back to back or even together, putting the 321 ahead means a massive delay for the 320.
Im fine with a A320 delay
That’s a vote between the 2. This topic is built on a different strategy.
Someone above suggested it could be like the ERJ rework. Both the A321 and A320 have more similarities with each other than the E175 and E190 have with each other. The time between the 2 reworks probably would be shorter, although that’s merely a guess.
Going back to the strategy, it all depends on what is being cooked behind the scenes. With Jason saying that the 3D artists are working on what might be the next aircraft after the Max 8 stoped this project from moving forward. This new aircraft or something the developers are working on could be anything. So rather than try to make my crazy move now, I’m going to wait until more information becomes available.
Are you though? Right now it just looks like there is a lack of a consensus.
Does the majority of the people who answered this poll support the A321NEO? Yes.
Has, however, the 321 been confirmed and promised for half a year now? I wouldn’t say so.
With your logic, if the 321 was confirmed, but the 320 had a majority, you’d give in.
Just because people are finding themselves on the majority’s side, doesn’t mean opinions that aren’t majorities-with promises and guarantees already made-get their rights stripped away because the community’s viewpoint has shifted.
I won’t give in. Generally if I prefer the 321 I would support the 321. Even if they confirm they are working on an A320, I would still be fighting for the A321neo, even if it means it would be next.
My opinion is not based on the major consensus, I actually prefer the A321neo so if the A320neo would be confirmed, I still won’t give in.
However, with you doubting whether or not I would or would not give it will still not move us forward anyway at all
Same here. I remember checking flight radar and A21Ns were all over the place
Let’s see if we’re on the same page:
Would you sacrifice any aircraft for the A321NEO, or specifically the A320NEO?
Tbh, confirming the A320neo and not doing it right after the Max 8 wasn’t that great of an idea. They effectively put it on the back burner to both cook and rot. Let’s say the A320neo doesn’t come until 2026. If the interest in the A321neo is as high as it is now with it only growing, imagine what it will be like in another year
