A320neo or A321neo Family?

Howdy! Lately, I’ve noticed a unique interest in the A321neo family that makes me curious about whether or not something from a recent poll for aircraft in Infinite Flight could be changed before work begins on it, but before I can take it a step further and see if the switch is possible, I need more data. To collect this data, I have a very simple vote that I hope everyone can do.

This poll will be open until I see enough votes or a trend of who is preferred. The A320neo is simply the A320 with either the P&W or CFMs engines. The A321neo family referees to every A321neo that exists, including the LR and XLR.

After voting, I recommend giving a little explanation as to why the A320neo or A321neo family is better. All opinions are welcome as long as you’re respectful towards others.

One last note. This poll isn’t official in any way. This is just my own interest on this topic in the IFC.

True but things on the Would You Rather tend to include many other topics so I figured to get more people to participate, I’d make an independent topic on it.

Perfectly fine! 😊

a321neo easy for me
My reasoning is I get to see it more than the a320neo, and that I’ve flown on it

Here’s my reason

A320neo

A321neo Family

There are more operators of the A321neo than the A320neo. Plus, some airlines that fly the A320neo also fly the A321neo

Most airlines that fly the a320neo also tend to fly the a321neo. It brings a larger diversity of aircraft.

It would as complement the narrow body aircraft in Infinite flight that are reworked. E175, A220, 737 Max 8, A321neo, and 757-200

I like the a321neo family as for me it looks nice and it has similar characteristics to planes that fly a bit further than the a320s and 737s etc. (I think I’m not too sure on that)

Also I do think that the a321neo family is a game changer for most airlines.

For example Aer lingus operates the a321 LR on some of its American destinations I can just imagine the new opportunities and routes the airline could have once the XLR comes out!.

I personally believe that the A321neo would be a more beneficial aircraft for the simulator compared to the A320neo, although I’m more than happy with either.

The reason why I believe the A321neo would be more resourceful compared to the A320neo is due to the A321neo having more diversity in terms of operators, more route diversity such as being able to flying KBOS to EGLL or EGKK as an example, and additionally, the A321neo is the only NEO variant that operates in Australia with Jetstar!

Tbh i would still be happy with Either one!

A321neo is an easy pick for me. Think of how many more Hawaii routes we’d get, not to mention Play airlines opening up a lot more Icelandic routes.

I can’t even do my beloved SEA-KOA route on Delta because they always use an A321neo.

Not not to mention Icelandair getting them starting next year i believe!

A321N is more versatile, knowing IF they’d probably base it on the XLR (or it would have the range of an XLR) which continue the trend of the A321 being really funny in this game. Imagine flying across the Pacific in a loaded A321N just because you can.

I did not know AAL had that many A321 NEOs.
Also after going to the Farnborough Air Show and seeing the A321 NEO XLR do its flying display I’ve grown a liking to it. Also the amount of transcontinental USA routes I can do with it with the correct plane and not the current A321 which floats a lot would be nice.

Knowing you, you’ll probably do a 50 hour flight on it lol

If I can find a way to get 50 hours in an A321NEO, then the game developers should simply stop developing the game. It would have to be so slippery that it quite literally couldn’t slow down without spoilers (in level flight) or so powerful that it could break the sound barrier climbing vertically. That is the only way, because it would have to be a single engine idle the entire 50 hours.

A321neo is just way better

So far the data is looking as expected with the A321neo Family having a major lead over the A320neo. Going to give this poll a few more days for more people to see before concluding it.

Honestly if it gets up to 150 votes, that’ll probably be more than enough for what I have in mind next.
