A320ifly's ATC Training Thread [CLOSED, NOW IFATC]

After having applied to IFATC, read the IFATC Manual twice and completing a practice Test with a result of 86%, I am here with opening my ATC training Thread. Here, I will be posting my future ATC sessions in the Training Server stating time span, Airport and frequencies controlled. I appreciate my Community members’ help and look forward to becoming an IFATC. If you would like to help me out, please ask to be added to the Ping List!

@Nawf I truly appreciate you for flying! If you have any feedback, I would appreciate that, as well.

Feedback from SKYSURFER 1

First Approach

  • No issues.

Second Approach

  • No pattern entry given for runway change at first.
  • Incorrect pattern entry given later after I turned crosswind into right downwind.

Third Approach

  • No pattern entry given for runway change.
  • Good usage of sequencing instructions.
  • Forgot exit runway instruction but good catch with the contact ground before I had to request.
  • Good usage of progressive taxi instructions.
  • Give “Continue taxi at your discretion” instead of “Continue taxi” after conclusion of progressive taxi instructions.

Overall good job! Refer to the pattern work section under tower in the IFATC manual. You nay add me to the ping list and I will join if possible. Thanks for having me! :light_blue_heart:

I appreciate your feedback, and I will make sure to practice even more! It was too late for me to instruct you to exit RWY, I believe, since you were already in the progress of exiting the Runway. Anyway, I really appreciate you for flying and for this detailed feedback and helping me practice to becoming an IFATC! I will make sure to add you to the ping list.

Feedback from AIR INDIA 322IN

Pushback direction was correct but I prefer drag and push.

Taxi clearance should be drag and taxi but i was so close to runway so direct clearance works.

Clearances and traffic directions perfect

Please give pattern entry on runway change before clearing an aircraft.

Exit runway was too late, give it on 60-70 kts.

Everything else perfect.

Great controlling.

All the best for your practicals

Thank you very much for flying and for your feedback, as well. I prefer Drag and push/drag and taxi, as well but for some reason it did not work for me today. I will try and figure out what it was, thank you once again! :folded_hands:t2:

Sounds great! Me, too, which is why I opened this Thread. You can apply to IFATC and someone will reach out to you. I recommend studying and opening your own ATC tracking thread.

I have already applied for IFATC, but I failed the English written exam.

When you’re starting a controlling session, add the people in your ping list so that they can get notified that you’re opening up. Otherwise, the purpose of the thread is defeated
