A Welcome Back - One Way Cross Country Trip

I’ll tell you what, I am ECSTATIC to be back in the IFC. I’ve missed it so much. This is my first post since 2022, and I’m still kinda knocking some rust off with playing Infinite Flight. It’s good to be back!!!

Tonight, I flew a basic break-in flight from LA to NY in the most beautiful and amazing aircraft that i think was ever made; The MD-11F (UPS STRONG!!!)

The MD-11 is the last of the remaining wide body Tri-Jets that are in operation right now as we speak. I love the way they look and just how much of a workhorse it is. They can pull a hefty amount of weight too. But with its 34 year old age, companies are phasing them out so much quicker than we can expect. The day when the last one flies, it will indeed be a sad day for me.

Oh and before you scroll through the pictures, I wanna go ahead and thank the ATC for such an incredible job both departing out of KLAX and arriving into KJFK. Did an excellent job on making sure to make the experience flying for the first time again really fun and professional, especially in a training server.
