A trip to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

So I know this isn’t technically a spotting topic but I’m going to share some pics from the Ronald Reagan museum about Marine One and Sam 27000
So this is pretty much when you first walk into the exhibit

I love this Mural

I love that shiny bottom ;)

Marine One just chilling below

😍

Just an F-14 chilling by the Peace Plaza

Thanks for seeing my pics
PS, they were taken on July 21, 2017 with an IPhone 6 at the Ronald Reagan Museum in Simi Valley, CA (much unneeded facts 😂)

The mural was cool, it had the two VC-25s along with the SAMs and a C-17 with an MD-80 and it goes through history when they had L-1049 super constellations for transport 😃

I’ve been there so many times I can’t even count. Such a fantastic place :) (also I think it’s a presidential library and not a museum don’t quote me on it)

I visited the museum as well, when I was visiting LA. The old Air Force One is incredible, too bad that they don’t let you go into the cockpit.

I know, but at least you can look at it :)

No, they just loaned it from Pensacola, its not technically theirs

If you are in Dayton, Ohio someday, go check National Museum of US Air Force. Admission is free. They have a half of hangar full of presidential planes with experimental planes filling other half. They have the first VC-137, the older sister. It’s one that carried JFK’s body after assassination.

is that the Air Force One they used when Reagen was in office? doesnt look so secure to me .

Yeah, he was the one who flew it the most, they also had a timeline with pics of it like when it started flying and when it came into the building to be put together for display and stuff like that
