A Sunset off of Waikiki Beach to a Busy Morning in the Aviation Capital of America

HONOLULU to ATLANTA

For the Friday Night flight, I obviously was flying into Atlanta so I decided to fly Honolulu to Atlanta. You probably know I love Hawaii so I wanted to fly out of Honolulu. I would’ve flown out Kona like usual, but the farthest flight they have is only to Dallas with American. Delta flies this route in real life with their A330-300, so I did too. I took off just after midnight on the East Coast and flew East into the sunset. We then crossed the Continental United States and the sun rose as we approached Atlanta. Flight time was 7 hours and 45 minutes

Putting the gear up as we blast off of the reef runway in Honolulu Climbing past the lush, green volcanoes of Oahu on our way out of Honolulu Flying East North of the islands of Molokai, Lanai, Maui and The Big Island as the sun begins to set After a sunset on the pacific the white moon rises as we cruise at 35,000 feet Crossing over the United States mainland above Los Angeles The sun rises as we fly toward Atlanta over the Northwest suburbs The gear lock into place as we approach a busy Atlanta Crossing over the runway threshold as a Cathay A350 awaits its return to Hong Kong Touching down on the world’s busiest airport on a very busy Friday morning! At the gate next to a Delta A350 and Maple CRJ-900 bound for Toronto

Very nice photos as always and I’ve done this route as well! I have a knack for doing the routes that my favorite travel bloggers/trip reporters/avgeeks do, so I did this route after Jeb Brooks made a review of it. I will definitely have to do the Alaska Milk Run route in IF! I watched Noel Phillips’ video about it last night and boy is there some nice scenery

“Hi Jeb Brooks here from greenergrass . com”
I think that’s what he says at the beginning of all his videos.

It’s amazing the shear size of the A350 and A330 compared to the Air Canada Express CRJ-900.

@TweetyFlights thank you! The moonshot was fun to take

@Jster82x it’s amazing that aircraft can be so variable! The A350 is huge compared to the little CRJ

Amazing! I need to use the A330 more often. It seams like a good airplane.😀
