The morning, times like these are usually the best time for operations. Everybody just wants to have a smooth morning and delays aren’t as common as they are towards the afternoon/evening rush. It’s also a popular time to fly so airlines might have more frequencies in the mornings rather than other hours. Apparently the amount of people flying between Miami, FL 
and Charlotte, NC in the mornings is high enough for American Airlines to fly their Boeing 777-200ER between the 2 cities. And naturally, that’s the aircraft I had to use.
