Hey everyone!
Today, I decided to take a trip down memory lane and bring back a true Dutch aviation gem: DutchBird.
Operating between 2000 and 2004 out of Amsterdam Schiphol (EHAM), this charter airline was small but incredibly loved. In fact, they were voted the best Dutch charter airline three years in a row! Apart from flying sun-seekers to the Mediterranean, they were also the official carrier for AFC Ajax, flying the team across Europe in their beautiful Boeing 757-200.
Sadly, the airline went bankrupt in early 2005, but their vibrant yellow, orange, and blue livery remains one of the most cheerful retro schemes to ever grace the skies.
