At Infinite Flight, we take the well-being of our community very seriously and want to make sure everyone who comes here can share their passion for aviation and flight simulation in a welcoming and safe environment.
We decided to enable a stricter filter on “bad words” where the system will automatically flag any public or private message containing such words and send it to our moderator queue.
Also a quick reminder that while we are very flexible with what is posted on this forum, we won’t tolerate any type of violence, abuse, bullying, etc… those will result in immediate ban from this community. Trying to work around the filter will also be subject to a ban.
Our audience span all ages so we have to be a bit more mindful of the language we use. I am sure we can all make a small effort to make this space a bit nicer :)
Wow! A step forward I hope this community will continue to thrive and not become toxic and unwelcoming to new Pilots. This game has helped me through rough times like when I failed a test or a death of a family member (this escalated faster than fighter jets in IF).
It really is great seeing this. It makes this community more warm without the “bad words” that can kind of be said time and time but are quickly handled and anything in that category. Some parents want their children to avoid social media (the forum can be taken as in social media category for some) but it really turns the hesitation on that choice by the parents around in that kind of view in my opinion with this implemented. Thank you! 😁
