A question about XP

What is the maximum XP for a smooth landing and I have noticed that when your flying do you get a XP per minute??

The devs haven’t told us on how XP is calculated. No one knows

You gain 10 XP for every minute you fly. Landing XP is based also on smoothness of touchdown, weather condition, etc.
I don’t know if using of APPR Sys give you XP, although (in real) its use in CAT 2 100/300, CAT 3A/B is mandatory.

Rumors say that you earn 10 XP per minute you fly
• Weather conditions and smooth landing are counted for XP
• Autoland (APPR) doesn’t count

@Mattia_Bordoni is correct. For landings it is all about skill (quality of landing) and difficulty (weather).
As a guide, I’ve calculated about 115 XP for mild crosswind landings (7 knts) to almost double that for 18/G24 winds. I haven’t attempted to see if or what effect visibility might have.

Hope this helps…

The higher your VS on touchdown, the more xp you get…right?

No that doesn’t make any sense.

I thought the point was to get as close to breaking the landing, oh well

Lol try it and see. Pretty sure lower vs is better though…

I’ve read a hundred times on here that APPR does not negatively affect your XP.
