Just shows how active the threads are. The darker (grayer), the more active it is.

The colors are based off the amount of replies in that topic.

It is based off of the amount of total replies and the activity in that thread. Also, thats me!!!
You’re right. Just look at the numbers, as the colors aren’t very accurate.
