A little help?

So no photos to show yet, but can I get some help on stuff like reducing grain and sharpness? Apparently my camera is 3/4, not full, so the sharpness is inherently limited. I use Olympus E-M1 Mark 2, and I’m planning to use a pretty big lens.

What setting do yall recommend? (I’ll be going around noon-golden hour so pretty bright, and I have a tripod available, also may rain so any tips for spotting in the rain?) Thanks!

Micro 4/3 is only an issue really at night. If you’re running broad day you shouldn’t have any issues at f/8 1/1000 ISO100. If you’re really worried about ISO start taking down the shutter speed as it gets closer to night. You can also open up the aperture to whatever it allows you to (probably 5 or 5.6) for a bit more light. Personally I wouldn’t blink at anything down to like 1/320 depending on angle but some people are shakier than others. After that you will have to start bumping up the ISO, no way around that.

Spotting in the rain is going to make your photos look grainy regardless of grain since the raindrops kind of look like grain. If you’re really concerned about grain I would recommend just not doing it/
