I see. I do teach classes to other cadets at Civil Air Patrol. I’ve been taught to use visual aids, describe them, and kind of summarize them. I brought those skills to this post, but maybe I did it in a way that was unnecessary. I’ll think about it.
A lot of the stuff you mentioned is either common knowledge or simply pulled from the video which doesn’t support the need for this topic. The effort was appreciated but vertical speed is one of those things that requires very little (if any) explaining to do. The official video tutorial that you linked has more than enough information to teach one about the effect vertical speed has on an aircraft’s performance.
