So I was looking around and found this. Please note replies are on the left, and views on the right. I think we have a glitch in the matrix.
Is this a common glitch, or does it just take a while to count views?

The glitch is that the replies are more than the views, which is not logical, as the opposite makes sense.

If you open the thread a lot of replies are probably by the same people… Especially when guessing so

That makes sense. Imagine that the majority of the users shown below have replied to that thread more than 100 times:
That’s why the replies are more than the views.
