A few questions about XP grinding

Hello everyone! I just did my first XP grinding session, and I was AFK. I have a few questions:

  1. Does leaving my iPad plugged in for ages damage it? - Answered: It doesn’t
  2. What happens if my iPad overheats?
  3. Is Chicago or Singapore the best region to do it in?

Thanks!

I use Chicago and I don’t think leaving it plugged in ruins the battery, at least not for me. I was flying in Chicago for 5 hours the other day and I don’t notice a difference. And your iPad won’t overheat as long as it’s inside. I’ve never even had my iPad overheat, even outside :)

depends on the batter
if you have a lithium io-on battery then yes,
the heat from charging your phone and playing IF at the same time will destroy it

I leave my iPad Air 2 plugged in for around 4 hours. What battery does it have?

You shouldn’t leave your charger in for long times after your phone or tablet has reached 100%. Just keep that in mind. It burns out your battery a ton. I did that all the time with my iPhone 6, and now it’s battery life lasts shorter than when I first got it.

Okay. So how should I do the long flights? 😕

Good question. I’m not sure how I’m supposed to do a 7 hour flight on global. My plan was to cruise, go to sleep, wake up and land. But that requires my phone to be plugged in so it doesn’t die during the flight. But once again, your battery would get killed unless you set up several alarms for you to wake up to unplug and plug back in your phone.

Do you just leave your plane going in a direction for hours

The apple forums say it’s okay 😕

Yes, I do.

Yeah, don’t worry about it it’s fine. Your battery will stay good. Just don’t plug it in when it’s already 100%.

But my plane always ends up crashing after 30 minutes

If I leave it plugged in when it’s 100%, will it be fine?

Thanks for all the answers by the way! 🙂

The battery is probably different for iPads and iPhones.

Put out flap 25, and make sure the weight is low.

I think you might be right.

you’ll get more xp in less time for doing a lot of touch and goes.

Also, as long as you are using an apple charger, it keeps your battery healthy by discharging and charging again and other complicated things. Apple designed this specifically for this reason of leaving it plugged in. So just make sure you’re using the charger that came with your iPad and you’ll be fine.

Yes, I think plugging in at 100% is fine as long as you’re using the apple charger that came with your iPad.
