If I’ve been cleared to land on runway 27 at KSAN, however I have to still go right downwind, right base and finals, do I announce those?

After you receive kanding clearance, there is no need to report your position.
The only exception would be when you request touch and go, get cleared, then change your mind to full stop (or vice versa). If that’s the case, report your position with your new intention to let the controller know that you changed.

After you have been cleared, you don’t need to announce your position. If you do, they will say “You’ve already been cleared to land, avoid unnecessary reports.”

If you haven’t been cleared to land, then do report your position however. They may have forgotten about your landing clearance.
