Today, November 22nd was Aegean Virtual Group’s first ever IFC event! As their 2nd or 1st pilot I felt almost obliged to fulfill my duties as IFATC and control their event. Unfortunately I was unable to control LGAV but managed to get the other one all to myself - LSZH. Anyways Enjoy my pics + descriptions of course
Here’s my Ground radar this evening! Most of them are bots but shhh no one has to know. Anyways, you can start to see some individual pilots from VA’s like 302EK!
We first saw this TAP A320 coming in from Lisbon piloted by @lucasspotter
Then came our first departure. An Emirates A380 → Dubai piloted by @Samuel_H
Then came 2 more arrivals:
First one was the red beach towel coming in from Frankfurt piloted by @Maxboyy
Then, our first Aegean coming in from Athens under the controls of @Papi
We’ve had a lot of gear collapses
Too many gear collapses… (another thing there was too much of was Portugal’s goals again Switzerland in the World Cup
)
First off was a United Airlines flight from Newark under the controls of @vihaanu (or Autoland, idk)
Then came another Airbus A380 departure but just going to the other side of the world, Santiago, Chile piloted by @Capt350
Then came a realistic route to São Paulo on a Swiss 777 piloted by @IFC-Captain-Ling
And another Airbus A380 by yet another operator, this time. Thai Airways (IF has had a laugh with the gear of this one, don’t worry it landed safely and taxied back to its gate normally) anyways it came in from Bangkok and was piloted by @CaptMrNice
We then had our first departure from runway 28 - a little HOP hopping (I hope not off the ground at least) towards Paris captained by @LegendaryJangles
Our first AeroMexico of this series yet, it flew in from its hub (Mexico City) and was captained by (wooh ok, you can do it FreshOuttaPoland, u can do it) @vqmwthf2ww
Then a nice little terminal shot of a Swiss and a SAS
And finally, (I apologize Realism Police) an Iberia jet to Prague. Anyways, Prague is a nice city so hope that guy had a nice flight.
Halfway through the images, and here’s a look at how my Tower frequency is looking!
We continue our Planespotting with a Swiss A330 coming in from the south - like far south. Cape Town, South Africa south anyway hope you had a nice flight @SqrX
We then continued onto another departure from 28, this time it’s an A220 heading a bit closer to Bucharest! Never been, is it nice? Well, maybe @A320-111 will know, as he flew that plane!
Then, @Paul_Louis stopped by with his A340 from again, far south but Johannesburg this time!
Then, we see that SAS A350 again, not sure if the Swiss 777 is the same but I can tell you that!
The SAS A350 was headed to
New York City and was piloted by @Hennix040
Meanwhile the Swiss 777 was piloted by @Alon_Israelov and was headed on a further journey to Santiago, Chile (Boeing or Airbus?)
Then, we saw a Delta plane taxiing to runway 16 as it was headed to JFK - piloted by @KREAM
GO-AROUND! An Aegean A320 coming in from Athens puts the throttle to TOGA and lifts back off into the air!
It lands safely after a pattern but nice job on the landing @Savsznn
And again, a livery I hadn’t seen before on the 757, this bird was beautiful (I think it was Dutch) it flew in from Athens and was piloted by @Raymond_Ezeh
The top: Commercial planes
The bottom: Cargo
Anyways, quick round up time.
Swiss is going to Denver, Colorado piloted by @Jake_Pemberton
Behind it, a Delta is heading to its hub Atlanta, Georgia piloted by @Andrea737
Next to it, a Turkish A350 lands from the city that lies on 2 continents, Istanbul, Turkey.
Then we see a FedEx plane taxiing to runway 16 heading to Frankfurt (fun fact did you know that there’s an arrow in the FedEx logo?) maybe @Keylle_Andre_Lima knows the answer
And then we see a Lufthansa Cargo fly the exact opposite of the FedEx plane’s route as it comes in on 14.
Final 2 pics.
We first see another Aegean Airlines Airbus A320, this time rocking the improved new livery, coming in from Athens (obviously) piloted by @VitorFernandes
And then there’s an Edelweiss Airbus A330 coming in from Liberia (no not the country, but a random city in Costa Rica) - @Ruky is it a nice flight?
CONCLUSION
This is not an ad for @AegeanVirtualGroup in any way. I was not asked nor forced to do this post. Everything said here is a joke (if you feel offended dm me and I’ll remove it).
If you wish to see the event that this was based on: Wings Of Hermes
I think that’s it, oh yeah no it isn’t.
@Castle summon!
If you made it here, thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed!
