My longest flight on IF a couple days ago was a meager 2 and a half hours. Sad, I know. But for my birthday (November 21), I decided I wanted to do something very special and treat myself to something that would not only destroy that record but also my crippling underconfidence on the game.
So basically, I flew Sao Paulo to London on the LATAM 777-300ER! At 11:25 this would shatter my record and make me a true blue long haul pilot. I started the night before my birthday and was going to arm VNAV as soon as I got to cruise when I saw a post saying not to do that. Fortunately I took that advice, because I incidentally slept in and overflew my destination by 30 minutes 🫣
I came back to my flight and landed it safely in EGLL, after 12 hours and 28 minutes of flight. Here are some photos!
Oh and also at the beginning an Anon F22 was escorting me. Pretty cool!
