I am at a loss of words from this video. Sadly, we call these pilots commercial aviators.
Not sure if this posted before, but if it was MODS kindly delete this thread.

I was watching a video of a 172 and it had voice recording from inside, the guy rotated the 172 at 50 knots and the poor thing wouldnāt go airborne and the stall horn came on, they finally got airborne.
Amazing people donāt like to just get enough speed and then go airborne and want to go earlier.
Def feel bad for the people on board
Gosh! Thatās so scary. I get it that people get anxious with as speed increases, but there will be a time where you will be at a high elevation airport with limited runway, where your V1 might be 115, but VR will be 147, and believe me when I say you will get anxious as your plane keeps eating that runway, but you will have to hold on and pucker up and trust the numbers.
Luckily there was plenty of runway or else this would be bad. Very very bad.
Gosh I canāt imagine that, never worked in a hot and high altitude area, just cold. When I was ramping at When Ai⦠I mean PenAir⦠I mean Rav⦠whatever they were back then we had 340s in Denver and those guys hated flying out of there cause they eat the entire runway up
I mean, Iāve taken off in low idle⦠once. š¬ She got off the ground just fine though.
āonceā lol
Yeah that happened twice last year at Telluride. Hot and high. A Cirrus almost didnāt make it. We literally saw the plane dive down 300 ft and the fbo dispatcher called for them on ctaf asking if they were okay multiple times. 3 mins later the pilot reaponds, āwell that was closeā and puttered along. Lol crazyyyyyyyy! I canāt imagine what was going through his head.
Lol. I need to try that š
Censor word Censor word Censor word Censor word Censor word
I was just about to say that. Lol
Pretty much. Haha
Its nothing too alarming. It caught me off guard when I was like āwhy is it taking longer than normal for the Ng to spool upā. šBy that time I was already down the runway and I looked down only to realize I was still in low idle. Aircraft performance wasnāt affected. Just the spool time on the initial power increase. lol
Gotta love them turbines.
Side note I miss the beta noise. Music to my ears. Especially on transition. Eargasm.
Thatās my favorite part. Even when its not needed the temptation to just kick it down is super hard to resist. š¤£
Children of the āmagenta lineā. Youāre told what to do but not how to do it.
I wonder what the cause of this was. Seems that the runway was plenty long (due to the fact that they had room to gain speed). Surprises me though, did the pilot forget what V1 means? š
Probably multiple factors which I donāt even want to begin to dissect. Lol.
Letās work on your future career at CAE, Explain what went wrong Lol
