8000nm journey (Failure)

With the success of my last 7 hour flight I decided to attempt a 9000nmi flight today. You can follow along here.

Disclaimer: Flight may be aborted due to Hurricane Matthew. I live right in the path of it.

Good luck. Are you using LiveFlight connect to do this?

Would it be possible with anything else we have at the moment?

Try flying a 19 hour flight with manual sutopilot inputs.

Try flying 19 hours without any autopilot. Be grateful for what you have.

It’s a pain with as many turns as one has to make. It’s a shame they couldn’t just turn off throttle cut until global even if we’re just flying in blizzardland.

Flight will be cut short to 8000nmi because of Matthew. 8000nmi, however, is longer than the longest current passenger flight in service.

You sure about that?

Ek 251 is the longest current flight

Ain’t nobody got time for that.

Apparently, someone does.

EK 449 surpassed that before it even began. The flight is only 14,000 km while the flight from Dubai to Auckland is 14,200 km.

Okay. I just had that one in mind. Thanks for info

I failed. My aptop closed Connect on me 9 hours in.
