8.5/10 landing at Kai Tak runway 13

6kt 90° crosswind, no turbulence.

Entered Kai Tak traffic pattern after SID departure to the east from “new” HK international on training server in a Delta A330NEO

(It’s my 999th landing :3)
((1000th has to be a carrier break in an F18))

Procedure for any one interested.
First fly to VOR TD, then CH, maintaining 8000.
After intercepting CH, fly from VOR heading 270, start descent to 6000, tune ADF to SL.
When ADF is at 360°(when you are over wpt GOLF), start right hand turn.
Fly overhead SL heading 45° at 4500ft, before being established.
Descend towards the checkerboard, 1770 over OM, decision high before MM.
Use checkerboard as reference to start the final turn towards runway.
Intercept localizer, flare, land.

Or you could just use ancient instinct and just hand fly it 🗿

Cool photos
