every time i use the 787 (doesn’t matter which version) it all ways pitchs up before V1 and i can’t stop it, am i missing something?
Do you calibrate before departure?
what flap settings are you using?
what AIRspeed were you at?
trim setting + calibration is too far aft?
my flaps are at 20 for take off, and yes i do calibrate before takeoff
did you check your trim? also what power setting did you select
I’ve had this issue. Make sure you bring the throttle to TOGA gradually.
This happens to me all the time. I figured out just to use no trim and tilt your device down when on takeoff roll
same it used to happen to me
ok thanks i will to that
The 787 is not the newest IF plane, so the physics might not be perfect. Adjust your trim, calibrate before departure, speed up slowly, and pitch up very slowly. This might be the best chance to stop that from happening.
i would usually go straight up to TOGA but i think it’s supposed to be a progression to TOGA
It is. Slowly adjust to get to it and ease your way into rotation.
That is wild… thats your issue right there. Flaps should never go into double digits on departure unless the runway is short, or you are heavy. (Or both)
if your toga is full power (N1 at 117) then it wont work.
also this
it wont work properly at high flaps especially if you are light
you have to be gradual with the throttle as it is sadly a very old plane in game so it does not have the best physics.
The physics are fine on the 787. Just hold the nose down (forward pressure) during the take-off roll until ready for rotation.
Preferably use no trim, and be recently calibrated.
usually what i do, it definitely works better if you aren’t sudden with throttle, Flew the 788 for a total of 30 hours in and out of MMMX friday and saturday.
If the 787 get rework,it will has better physics.
Exactly, that’s why I don’t use the 788 often. I just go about 60-70% power, and when it pitches up, I push my iPad down.
yeah i’m hoping they do a rework of it
