77W VNAV inaccurate?

The 77W maintains speed so well during later stages of a descent that maintaining 2 degrees with VNAV will require spoilers to not speed up. Is this accurate compared to real life?

I believe so. The 777 is quite a slippery aircraft.

Yep. See below. And the physics are right, it’s just how the 777 works.

From what we’ve been told, (we as in the people who actually mess with the physics); The 777 is a glider beyond belief. I’ve brought this up a number of times over the years as well, as i do feel it’s a bit odd that’s near impossible to slow down. But apparently… that’s the case with that bird.
