777 Questions regarding auto brakes and climb thrust

When do I set auto brakes to off when I’m in the air after takeoff, and what is my climb thrust on a 777 when reaching 250 Knots?

You turn your autobrakes off when workload allows for it. I usually do it right after rotating so I don’t forget. Climb thrust in the 777 family mostly depends on your load. Most of the time, 75% - 80% N1 is fine (you may need to use more when extremely heavy.)

I use climb thrust according to the weight and feel of the aircraft at the time.

Basically it’s when you have your AP engaged so you don’t have to fly it manually

Unfortunately there is no RTO option for the breaks when taking off, I only set them when landing and depending on weather, weight and runway length that’s how I determine how much braking will be needed. Climb thirst depends on weight and weather, but yeah usually between 75%- 85% with correct trim.

As a best practice, the autobrakes can be set to the “Max” setting before takeoff in case of a RTO.
